Running your own business can seem like running a marathon.
With no training, in welly boots and a ball dress.
Whilst the original idea to start your own business may have been a great idea, the day-to-day practicalities can soon tarnish the dream.
There's something really wrong about this.
In the health & wellness industry, we focus all our efforts on helping people feel and look better. We're caring folk. We tend to go above and beyond the call of duty frequently if it'll help our clients.
But stretch us too far and that passion to care soon starts to fade.
Because we start a business based on caring, it's often the day-to-day business-running jobs that drag us down. Been there! Done that!
So today I'm going to share 3 of my favourite podcast episodes that really get my business-mojo rocking.
Regardless of your business, I think you'll find these podcasts great. I listen to my podcasts in the car, or when I have a walk after taking the kids to school.
2. Youpreneur FM: You230
5 simple steps to instantly become more productive. Yes, I'm sure we've all got a good idea about productivity, but sometimes its' good to hear how other people do it. What Chris Ducker does is share what he does, and boy, he's tried a lot of stuff. These aren't quick fixes, but tips that will give really good, long-lasting changes.
3. Three month vacation: #158 and #159
Sean D'Souza is a business whizz. And Kiwis can proudly claim him as one of their own now! These two episodes together can really save your brain! Sean looks at memory, learning and how we can use how the brain works to achieve success. Sean's a great storyteller and I love how his podcasts spin stories within stories to highlight important points.
So there you go. Three of my favourite podcast episodes that help boost my business-mojo when it starts to flag.
Then I go home and make a list of the things I need to do now, do later, or delegate.
Creating a blog calendar can take the pressure off thinking what you should blog next.
I can craft a six-month blog calendar for your health & wellness business. Just ask!
Hi, I'm Katrina. I love writing, and I love helping people grow their businesses.
